Peter Leaton is the President and a founding partner of Leaton Technology Integration Inc. (LTI). Peter brings over ten years of direct experience in telecommunications, networking, and connectivity infrastructure with both the public sector (Government of Canada) and private sector companies.
Before co-founding LTI, Peter developed and executed over $8 billion in infrastructure funding programs with Industry Canada and Infrastructure Canada. While being the subject matter expert for broadband and connectivity, Peter's technical advice contributed to the success of projects in all of the following categories:

Highlights from Peter's career with Industry Canada and Infrastructure Canada include:
- Developing the Government of Canada's first community-based broadband deployment model
- Analysing and ranking more than 150 connectivity projects across the country, and overseeing their implementation
- Managing projects to bring broadband to every community in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories — some of the harshest, most extreme climates in Canada
- Developing Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) projects in smaller, rural communities in Ontario and British Columbia
- Incorporating connectivity technology into infrastructure projects such as bridges, water and wastewater treatment plants, and public transit (Intelligent Transportation Systems)
Upon graduation from Computer Engineering at the University of Ottawa, Peter worked in semiconductor (microchip) design with several local high-tech companies. While completing his degree, Peter worked in Bell Canada's Engineering Department as the Ottawa-area Access Network Coordinator.
