Pre-Wiring

Structured Communications Wiring

Often referred to as 'Smart Home' wiring, structured wiring means running sufficient wiring of various types throughout the house before the walls are finished back to one central panel to enable the sending and receiving of audio, video, and data between rooms of the home. Whether you are thinking about resale value or planning for yourself, this will allow you, the home owner, maximum flexibility in placing, moving, and adding, communications, security, and entertainment devices when you move in and in the future.

Custom Audio/Video Pre-wiring

Similar to structured wiring, installing speaker and audio/video cables in the walls before they are finished greatly facilitates full-custom A/V installations. A common example of this is pre-installing the appropriate cables for a flat screen TV above a fireplace, but more involved examples could include running speaker wire for multi-room audio, placing various A/V cables for secondary A/V zones, and/or installing conduit for future applications. This critical step greatly facilitates any future audio/video system installation planned for your home, so plan to include an hour to discuss your project with us early in the process.
