Here are a few examples of some recent theatres we have done:
Melissa’s Theatre
The Challenge: Create a multi-faceted family entertainment area from an unfinished basement.
Starting from bare studs and a cement floor, Melissa's basement now has a 7.1channel theatre with custom home theatre seating, a games area complete with pool table and air hockey, a childrens' play area, and a fully stocked bar to keep everyone entertained. An additional challenge was combining a few existing components with new pieces to create the optimum blend.

Brad’s Theatre
The Challenge: Design a home theatre that prioritized audio quality first.
The main reason for finishing the remainder of Brad's basement was for this home theatre, but every part of it, from component selection to the use and location of textures, was designed specifically for multi-channel audio quality first but with minimal compromise for movies.

Pete’s Theatre
The Challenge: To create the perfect haven to watch sports and movies while the kids can play nearby.
Although Pete's basement was already mostly finished, it wasn't complete — it was missing a home theatre! Customizations for the theatre include shelves built into the wall for components and the center channel speaker (with rear access of course!), a riser for a second row of La-Z-Boy seating, and cozy fireplace in the corner.

Bill’s Rec Room
The Challenge: To design a theatre compact in size and budget, but generous in performance.
Bill's theatre was built just after taking possession of his new home. Sharing the room with a full-sized pool table, this system can provide alternative/ambient entertainment for a get-together or take center stage for a movie or the big game.
Theatre components:
- 50″ Panasonic Viera plasma
- Yamaha RXV765 7.1 channel receiver
- Paradigm Cinema 330 5.1 channel speaker system
- Panasonic DMPBD60 Blu-ray
- Motorola 6200 HD cable box
Rampton Cottage Theatre
The Challenge: Build a budget-conscious system that wouldn't be lost in a huge, open log cottage.
The Rampton family love to gather at the family cottage, a large and open log building. Being a cottage, we designed and installed a budget-conscious system that would comfortably entertain the family on those cold or rainy days when playing in the lake isn't an option. The grandeur of the room make this theatre look small despite being centered around a 50″ plasma, but put on a Blu-ray and it suddenly fills the room.
Theatre components:
- 50″ Panasonic Viera plasma
- Yamaha HTR6250 5.1 channel receiver
- Yamaha 5.1 channel speaker system
- Yamaha iPod dock
- Panasonic DMPBD60 Blu-ray
- BEV 4100 satellite receiver
