‘Rolling’ Projects
Not content with limiting ourselves to working in buildings, LTI excels at tackling unique and challenging projects involving the integration of technology into vehicles. Some examples include:
SSI Commander
The Challenge: To create a rolling demo vehicle for an Internet Service Provider.
Complementing its already full load of options, this 2008 Jeep Commander Limited was treated to the following:
- MCS vehicle-mount modem with external roof-mounted antenna
- Cradlepoint wifi access point with aircard backup
- Passport custom-installed (read: completely undetectable, inside and out) radar detector w. GPS
- 22″ American Racing rims with Kumho Ecsta STX rubber
- aFe cold air intake
- full custom 3″ cat-back exhaust system with dual 4″ slant-cut tips
- 6000K HID low beams and fog lights
- Mopar roof rack mounted 4-light bar
- Two auxiliary 110V in-cabin heaters
- Mopar battery blanket
- E&G Classics stainless steel heavy mesh grille, and
- a tasteful selection of exterior accessories
The MCS modem, WiFi access point, and switching gear were all housed in a custom fabricated removable box replacing one of the third row seats. When plugged into its timer, the battery blanket & block heaters engage and the auxiliary heaters pre-warm the cabin to comfortable room temperature ready for the morning's commute without burning an extra drop of gas idling.
Korey’s Hummer H2
The Challenge: To dress up an already over-stated vehicle.
This 2005 Hummer H2 starts its transformation with an assortment of exterior chrome accessories and huge 4″ Boss Bars chrome running boards.
The next step of the transformation is set to include:
- Dual DVD / dual LCD with true 5.1 surround audio
- 22″ rims & tires
- Cold air intake
- Full custom cat-back exhaust
- Performance engine tune
LTI SRT-10
The Challenge: To add a little extra performance and function to the most powerful pickup truck ever made.
LTI's first company vehicle was a 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10, powered by a 500HP Viper V10. Modifications included:
- Leer tonneau cover with power locks and carpet underlining
- Bedrug box carpet liner
- Kuhmo Ecsta STX ultra performance tires
- EBC high performance slotted and cross-drilled rotors & pads
- K&N cold air intake
Pete’s Dakota R/T
The Challenge: A few minor tweaks to make the whole package better.
The President's first real vehicle: a 2000 Dodge Dakota R/T. Improvements included:
- Mopar performance computer
- Custom cold air intake
- Magnaflow custom tuned, high-flow exhaust
- ARE tonneau cover with power locks and carpet underlining
- Bedrug box carpet liner
- Toyo Proxes ST ultra performance tires
